The NPO was established on the 1 January 2007 in view of housing the Vulture Programme, dedicating its efforts to conserve southern Africa’s vultures with the emphasis placed on the Cape Vultures of Magaliesberg. The NPO has since expanded its activities to include those of other endangered species, however the Vulture Programme remains its flagship project and will continue to strive towards the continued survival of our natural heritage and The Vulture.
